The Scripps Miramar Ranch Branch Library is scheduled for an expansion of its parking lot in fall 2008. High school aged students attend Scripps Ranch High School, a widely respected school that receives high marks in statewide standardized testing and regularly sends its graduates to top rated and Ivy League colleges and universities.

Those who commute to downtown San Diego have about a half hour drive in the mornings and evenings, but many opt instead to work in one of the several business centers in the Scripps Miramar Ranch area.
