And the La Mesa Community Center is considered excellent by residents, with great programs for both kids and adults and consistently well-kept facilities.

La Mesa has excellent public schools and its high school, Grossmont High School, earns consistently high marks, sending its students to top colleges and universities.

Homes here average about $475,193 (as of February 2006), but those in the hills of La Mesa can go up as high as almost $3 million. Those homes have spectacular views of the hills of San Diego and some can see as far as the ocean. La Mesa real estate is an investment that will pay off for years to come.
